Africa 04:55
Look around you from a mountain high, Across the plains, where the mighty lion roams, You’re going home. Cast a shadow on this golden land, Watch the herds and the elephant return, Look to the sun. Standing tall, you are proud of what you see (chaka-hum-a-way) You belong to this land, that’s all you need. Hold the earth in your hands and cry out loud, Africa, oh Africa. Stow your weapons and begin to dance, Let the spirit of a thousand years arise, And fall from the skies. Leave your footprints in the dirt and sand, Bring your water from a hundred miles around, Rejoice to the sound. Standing tall, you are proud of what you see (chaka-hum-a-way) You belong to this land, that’s all you need. Hold the earth in your hands and cry out loud, Africa, oh Africa. Standing tall, you are proud of what you see (chaka-hum-a-way) You belong to this land, that’s all you need. Hold the earth in your hands and cry out loud, Africa, oh Africa. Africa, oh Africa,

Everything 03:50
You ever dreamed like a millionaire, you ever swooned on the ocean air? You ever felt like a king or queen, or a movie star of old? You ever danced on a desert sand, or watched the sun set upon the land? You ever took to the ocean waves without thought of where you’d go? Well you don’t see me, but I am here , And I can be your everything, You don’t see me, I’m everywhere, And I will be your, your everything. D’you ever walk through a summer storm? There’s strength within you that’s still unborn. A passenger on a crowded plane, looking for a place to land. D’you ever speak of a better day, while watching time slowly drift away? D’you ever wonder what might have been if you had seen things through? Well you don’t see me, but I am here, And I can be your everything. You don’t see me, I’m everywhere, And I will be your, your everything. I can never go back, I can never return, I have so much to learn. I can never go back, I can only begin to begin. Well you don’t see me, but I am here, And I can be your everything You don’t see me, I’m everywhere, And I will be your, your everything. There’s a time to remember, a time to forget, Looking into the future, a time to reflect. You can live for the moment, or live for the day, You can turn it around, or just walk it away. It’s the heart of the ocean, the top of the world, It’s the burning inside you, that longs to be heard It’s the time in your life when there’s no turning back, And you’ve finally found who you are. You’re everything, You’re everything, You’re everything.............

The Raingod 04:21
Another streetlight begins to fade, on this avenue of yesterdays Watercolours in the midday sun, all are lost now that the rain’s begun. The future’s now and your mind is strong, and you could be almost anyone, Drifting by like some long lost friend, or flying high on your wings again. You’re the Raingod,. What happened to you, what happened to you? You’re the Raingod,. What happened to you, what happened to you? Cheap hotels, people scream and fight, oh what you’d give for some sleep tonight, Some peace of mind just to dream your dreams, get some escape from this life machine. It’s in the hands of the man you see, reaching out for your tranquility, So write your poems by your candlelight, and tell me what’s in your dreams tonight. You’re the Raingod,. What happened to you, what happened to you? You’re the Raingod,. What happened to you, what happened to you? No reason to be proud anymore, no reason to be loud anymore, No comfort in a crowd anymore, no one to be around anymore. Wowowow.....what happened to you, what happened to you. An early morning rain begins to fall, the traffic down below begins to crawl, The endless spiral of another day, somehow the rain will wash their sins away. You wear the clothes that hide the man inside, you tell yourself that you are justified, But as you hit the streets you realize, what you’ve become in other people’s eyes. You’re the Raingod,. What happened to you, what happened to you? You’re the Raingod,. What happened to you, what happened to you?

It’s getting cold, now the air is humming, I hear the footsteps of the judgment coming, They’re getting louder, as the leaves go filtering by. The light is poor, but I can see their shadow, They head my way across this moonlit meadow, I know the purpose of those cold and cynical minds It’s the fire and the fog, and the ghost upon the mire, It’s the stillness of the night, and the vengeance they desire, It’s the fire and the fog, and there’s a madness whispering by. His shallow grave is but a mile from this place, Born to the manor, I can still see his face, I took his life, for he had sought to take mine. If I am guilty, there can be no justice, I’ve no defense, for they will not stand witness, Such is the price, that a poor man pays for his crime. It’s the fire and the fog, and the ghost upon the mire, It’s the stillness of the night, and the vengeance they desire, It’s the fire and the fog, and there’s a madness whispering by. You could send me far away, and I could leave upon this day, Yes, you could send me far away from here. It’s the fire and the fog, and the ghost upon the mire, It’s the stillness of the night, and the vengeance they desire, It’s the fire and the fog, and there’s a madness whispering by

No One Home 04:53
The future seems so distant, when I stare into the past, Where the whole of my existence was a love that didn't last. Like a silhouette in motion, moving slowly on its way, Or a blind man on a crowded street on a New York summer's day. When the heart begins to crumble, and the soul begins to die, When you reach into that empty place, and see a face, And wonder why there's no one home tonight. I'll take my time and drink my wine, and somehow think it through, I'll lay my head back in this chair, and spend some time with you. It's the poetry unspoken, falling words inside my head, It's the solitude of sleepless nights that I must lay to rest. When the heart begins to crumble, and the soul begins to die, When you reach into that empty place, and see a face, And wonder why there's no one home tonight.

Never cross the dark still water, never swim alone, Listening to the winds of silence will sink you like a stone. Always be a deep down thinker, thoughts control the act, Whispers in a sea of motion will try to bring you back. Sometimes I feel I’m falling down, down, down, Sometimes I see my reason tumbling to the ground. This is your revelation Clouding out your view, It’s not imagination, It’s always Brilliant Blue. Be careful of the life long dreamer, he could make you rich, Fill your head with wishful thinking, if that is what you wish, While out across this land unspoken, grow visions of despair, Religion cries the non believer, it’s a personal affair. Sometimes I feel I’m falling down, down, down, Sometimes I see my reason tumbling to the ground. This is your revelation Clouding out your view, It’s not imagination, It’s always Brilliant Blue. It’s always Brilliant Blue, it’s so brilliant...... It’s always Brilliant Blue, it’s so brilliant......

Don’t want to talk about it, already heard the news, I can’t remember what she said, It’s all a blur to me, it just occurred to me from somewhere in my head. Don’t want to think about it, no wish to criticize, What’s been has gone, there’s nothing left, It’s not a game to me, it’s all the same to me, this book is all but read. I should just laugh about it, no point in wasting time I’m not a victim, and the choice you made is not a crime. I had you in my corner, it’s all behind me now, You found some other way, some other guy to let you down. And you, I don’t believe your point of view, Fancy clothes and fancy cars, and I am somewhere over Mars. Who am I, and who are you, tell me what you’d have me do, For I am out amongst the stars, I am somewhere over Mars. Only the voice of reason, could have the final say, And in that moment you were gone, And though I wanted to, I never said to you, that time would move us on. You seek the wealth of strangers, but never count the cost Sometimes the price can be too high, The journey never ends, you have to find a friend, before you say goodbye. And you, I don’t believe your point of view, Fancy clothes and fancy cars, and I am somewhere over Mars. Heading out on a perfect day, where all roads lead to heaven, Driving down by the ocean side, with all my fears forgotten. I’m going home, I’ve come undone, Because I know what I know, I follow the sun. If you could see what a fool I’ve been, lost and so misguided, Been losing sight of the good in life, and living in the darkness. I’m going home, I’ve come undone, Because I know what I know, I follow the sun. I’m going home, I’ve come undone, Because I know what I know, I follow the sun. Well you were right, but I can’t explain, Still I’d like to try, I could try again, ‘Cause I know this road will lead me back to somewhere. I want to be how I used to be, Want to live my life from the heart of me, It’s a long way back, but a perfect situation. You never know what the truth will find, or of it’s destination, And where I go, what I leave behind, will be proof of my intentions. I’m going home, I’ve come undone, Because I know what I know, I follow the sun. I’m going home, I’ve come undone, Because I know what I know, I follow the sun.

A shadeless light in a rented room, The day is long as I wait for you The hours go by, till the darkness calls, I’m a prisoner here in between these walls. I no longer refuse to see That the strength in you was the need in me And now you say we must end this soon You’re afraid, somebody knows. Black as the rose, black as the sky, Black as the look, that’s in your eyes, Black as the rose, folding to dust, Empty of words, willing to trust. Black as the rose. The temple’s stained, and its glories past, This book of life has been made of glass, So here we are for the last goodbye, There’s no final thoughts, there’s no tears to cry. You must do what you feel you must, Though I hope you’ll stay, I believe you’re lost, So the stillness becomes the noise, And the passion is now the pride. Black as the rose, black as the sky, Black as the look, that’s in your eyes, Black as the rose, folding to dust, Empty of words, willing to trust. Black as the rose. Close the door, close your eyes, close your mind Let this moment last for ever. Picture me, picture you, final take of us two, Let me be remembered........ Black as the rose, black as the sky, Black as the look, that’s in your eyes, Black as the rose, folding to dust, Empty of words, willing to trust. Black as the rose.

You 03:54
It’s late at night, and I’m beginning to fly, I’m the man in the suit with the colourful tie, Coming in from the storm, Coming out of the blue I only want you, I only want you, No other will do, There’s no one but you. I’m hypnotized by her face in the woods, From my window above, keeping still as she moves, There’s no light from my room, Yet she holds me in view. I only want you, I only want you, No other will do, There’s no one but you It’s windy out, full moon is out, Strange noise in the hall, But what can I do I only want... I only want you, I only want you, No other will do, There’s no one but you I only want you, I only want you, No other will do, There’s no one but you!!
